UQ Business School researchers, James Boyce, Dr Morteza Namvar and Professor Andrew Burton-Jones have been named finalists in the Australian Financial Review AI Awards for their project Agentic AI for Multilingual Scholarly Communication.
Delivered in partnership with the AIS Taskforce for Inclusive, Impactful Science, the tool uses responsible AI to translate academic research into multiple languages, "expanding access to knowledge for non-English speakers worldwide" and connecting research with broader audiences to help identify solutions to global challenges.
