Neurodesk recognised at 2025 QLD iAwards

The University of Queensland’s Neurodesk project has been recognised as a Merit Recipient in the Technology Platform category at the 2025 QLD iAwards, celebrating the state’s most innovative digital and technological achievements. Developed at UQ, Neurodesk provides a containerised data analysis environment to facilitate reproducible analysis of neuroimaging data.

By embracing open science, Neurodesk paves the way for ground-breaking discoveries that are reproducible, accessible, and collaborative. The Neurodesk project embodies the essence of open science and has already demonstrated sustained and impactful contributions to the field,” the Australian Information Industry Association stated.

Led by Dr Steffen Bollmann, the development of Neurodesk contributes to UQ’s leadership in artificial intelligence, by delivering a reproducible, cloud-based platform that supports AI-ready and data-intensive analysis in neuroscience research.
