Computer vision concerns itself with understanding the real world through the analysis of images, or more specifically, to infer properties of the observed world from an image or a collection of images.

Our research group is working on a range of topics in Computer Vision and Image Processing, combining a range of different domains, including mathematics, statistics, computer science and machine learning/artificial intelligence.

Our research topics include:

  • 3D reconstruction
  • Deep Learning
  • Image Segmentation
  • Geometry Processing
  • Medical Image Analysis
  • Skin Cancer Diagnostics
