Three of Professor Brian Lovell's PhD Researchers are now working in Sonic (Sullivan and Nicolaides Pathology SNP) and one is with Harrison.ai.
The imaging and AI systems developed by Lovell's team at UQ with SNP are in regular clinical use in Queensland processing slides from across Australia, and there are huge payoffs in terms of time, cost, and quality he says.
"We have just developed a new few shot incremental learning AI technology for them called ALICE which is submitted to CVPR2021. It is so wonderful to see Australian Industry embracing AI."
