The UQ AI Research Network is pleased to announce the 2025 UQ AI PhD Showcase. The UQ community is invited to join a two-day catered event on Thursday 26th & Friday 27th June at the St Lucia Campus. The event will include keynote talks from Dr. Peter Bailey (Canva) and Lawrence Kusz (ChatStat), presentations and posters of AI related projects by 40 UQ PhD researchers, an expert panel discussion, and social networking.

'Responsible AI: Your questions answered' is a first-of-its-kind report from the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering in partnership with the Australian Institute of Machine Learning and features contributions from 13 Australian AI leaders including UQ AI academics.

The new AI Research Network builds on the research strengths fostered through the AI Collaboratory to advance UQ’s standing in AI research and education through transdisciplinary collaborations and engagement with industry, government and community.
